Sleep Bamboo has been producing bamboo sheets for about 5 years. They got started when they noticed a need for GREEN textiles. In the beginning they sold wholesale to five star hotels and resorts. After many messages asking for retail sales, Sleep Bamboo opened sales to the public.

There are several wonderful properties in Bamboo textiles. Bamboo fabric is softer than some of the finest cotton or silk available. It has a natural wicking property that is more absorbent than cotton and allows you to remain at a comfortable and consistent temperature throughout the night. Bamboo fabric is naturally antibacterial and will repel odors. It is also biodegradable. Today, Sleep Bamboo offers Bamboo sheets, duvet covers, pillows, pillowcases, and towels.

I had heard wonderful things about Bamboo; however, I was skeptical that bamboo would make a soft fabric. I just had to try it for myself! For my review, I was blessed with a set of Sleep Bamboo pillowcases in their Cedar color. These pillowcases are made with 100% Bamboo fibers and have a 320 thread count which is about the equivalent of 1000 cotton thread count.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Bamboo Pillowcases! They are so soft and silky. The Cedar color is a rich dark shade of sage green. The wicking property is wonderful. I could really tell that they were helping to regulate our temperatures. My Husband is like a furnace on high when he sleeps and I am in a deep freeze. I actually put my hand on both pillows when we woke up and they were about the same temperature.

I know what you are thinking, are these high maintenance pillowcases? No, Bamboo textiles are easy to care for; they are machine washable and dryable.

I am completely in love with my Sleep Bamboo pillowcases, they are HEAVENLY! I feel like I am sleeping on a pillow from a five star resort! Now I MUST get the rest of my bedding in Bamboo.

You can find all of Sleep Bamboo’s luxurious textiles on their website.
