Neocell’s lists of products are not just geared toward the established competitive athlete. Their products do address concerns that athletes have but they also offer products for those of us who don’t compete (well, maybe we compete with ourselves a little bit). For my review, I received the Resveratrol Antioxidant, the Hyaluronic Acid and Super Collagen.

The Hyaluronic Acid adds hydration to help the skin feel more supple and to lubricate the joints and eyes. It’s very easy to use this product as you only take one capsule twice a day on an empty stomach. I have experienced no aftertaste or upset stomach. It’s not easy to tell if this is helping my skin and eyes but I do know that I’ve been a bit more active in the yard recently and have not experienced any joint stiffness whereas I normally would.

The Resveratrol antioxidant aids with cellular rejuvenation and youthful vitality (immune support). I take 5 capsules daily and have been doing so for about a week. The capsules contain red wine grapes, grape vine and seeds as well as pomegranate extract. I think time will tell with this product.

The Super Collagen is a powder. I’m not thrilled with the taste of the powder but by mixing it with juice, it’s not quite as noticeable. The instructions say to drink it with Orange juice or take it with a Vitamin C supplement and I have been doing both. I drink this on an empty stomach 30 minutes prior to eating. This product helps support collagen in the skin, hair, nails, muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones. I’ve been taking this for about a week so it’s a little early to know if it’s helping but I imagine my fingernails will be the first to improve as they’ve always been very week and easy to tear.
