Biblical Beauty is a wonderful book written by Rachelle Weisberger. Rachelle is a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist. She has been working in the beauty industry for two decades and has her own line of cosmetics. Rachelle encourages women to seek the beauty within themselves opposed to comparing themselves to what they see in the media.
Biblical Beauty is a great read. I was not only able to learn about ancient beauty strategies, but I was also given the knowledge of how to incorporate some very easy beauty tips into my daily routine.
I am not a very big history buff so I didn’t really know if the book would keep my interest. To be very honest, it was a great read and had some very helpful tips in it. The background history was not in the least bit boring at all! It was actually quite interesting to compare how life and beauty techniques have changed. There is such a vast difference in time periods.
In Biblical Beauty, Rachelle talks about skin care, sun care, makeup, hair care, fragrance, jewelry, healthy aging, choices in motherhood and feminine leadership. Each chapter is broken down and talks about each aspect of that particular type of beauty. For instance, the chapter on skin care has several different sections such as skin types, cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, protecting, eye care, body care, hand care and nail care. I know that may seem like a lot of information, but it is broken down to be easily read and understood. The best feature of the book in my opinion is that in each chapter Rachelle has listed some very helpful tips. The tips are the main part of the book that I find myself visiting more often then not.
If you have been searching for some very simple yet helpful beauty tips, Biblical Beauty is the book to read. You can find more information on Biblical Beauty on amazon, facebook and twitter.
