I was super excited when I was asked to review for Chamilia.  I am not a big jewelry person, but I have been wanting something, preferable a bracelet or a ring, with the birthstones of my son, my husband and myself.  I don’t wear a lot of necklaces and I rarely venture out to get earrings.  I have a hard time with earrings as they cause my ears to get infected, so when I find a pair I typically stick with them.  Anyway, I do like rings, but as of right now I haven’t found what I’m looking for.

Chamilia is a superb jewelry retailer that offers the most beautiful jewelry ranging from necklaces, earrings, bracelets and beads.  I was offered the Bracelet-Silver Snap and a bead of my choice under $60.  I was so super excited as this is exactly what I have been wanting!  My sister has had a bracelet like this for a couple of years now and she has so many beads on it.  I just love it!  I have to say I was a little bit jealous of her.

Now let me tell you, I love the bracelet.  It is a rope type bracelet with a clasp that snaps closed.  You unsnap the clasp and place one end of the bracelet in it.  The clasp snaps back in place and is very secure.  I have had absolutely no trouble with the clasp at all.  The quality of the bracelet is wonderful as well.  I wear the bracelet daily and it looks just as good as it did the day I got it.

As for the bead, there are so many!!!  I had absolutely know idea how hard the choice would be.  I wanted something that would represent my son.  There are several different themes to choose from such as alphabet, milestones, sports and birthstones.  I went back and forth with my decision, especially between the initial for my son and his birthstone.  I ended up picking the birthstone just because I love the color of it.  I fully intend on getting my husband’s birthstone along with my own at some point.  The bead easily screws onto the bracelet and then is free to move until you have your bracelet filled with beads.  I like the fact that it screws on because the bead doesn’t just fall off the bracelet when you take it off.  It is secure and that is awesome to me!
