From the time that I was really little, I always enjoyed coloring and doing just about any other artsy or crafty thing that my parents would let me attempt. One year for Christmas I received some white bean bag stuffed toys that came with markers to color them with. I excitedly designed them in a spur of the moment decision and made a few accidents while coloring. Because they were designed to only be drawn on once, I was stuck with the design I made that I wasn’t happy with and I basically never played with them again because I thought I had messed up their design.

Blankz Stuffed Toys are a better idea. They allow your child to design them however they choose using the markets that they come with. However, instead of being stuck with the first design they make, they can simply send them through the washer and dryer and they will come out like new so they can color them all over again!

Blankz Toy Bear

The Blankz come in seven different animals – a teddy bear, a rabbit, a pig, an elephant, a cow, a seal  and a dog. I was a bit surprised by the size of the bear that I received. I’d like to see Blankz offer a line of toys that are closer to the average size for stuffed toys like 8-10 inches or so. Each animal comes with 5 markers including black, yellow, red, green and blue. Because of a potential choking hazard, Blankz aren’t recommended for the under 3 crowd. The Blankz website shows a few really neat designs that artistic people have been able to make on their Blankz toys, so I can see a creative tween or even teen enjoying the Blankz so that they can show off their skill. For example, how cute is the cow in his “candy cane sweater” design?

Keep Blankz in mind this holiday season for the child or creative teen on your list.
