Frego carries 4 colors of two cup square containers. Frego’s silicone and glass food storage and preparation containers are safe for any family. Each container is made from toxin-free material and is freezer, fridge, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. The convenience and usability of this product is absolutely amazing!
I received the lime green 2 cup square container and have really loved it. My husband works the night shift at his job so I often send dinner with him to work that needs to be heated in a microwave. I also make sure to send a microwave safe dish with him, but I still worry a little bit about what may be getting into his food. With the Frego container I don’t have to worry about that. There is no BPA, PVC, Polystyrene or Lead in any of their products. As for warming up the dish it is quite simple. Each Frego container comes with a glass dish, a silicone sleeve and a SoftSnap Lid. The Frego glass fits snugly in the silicone sleeve and can be heated in the microwave while in the sleeve. My husband doesn’t have to worry about the container being too hot to hold once he gets it out of the microwave. That is a big plus, as he only has a 30 minute break. The less time he has to deal with the container his meal is in, the more time he has to eat and relax a little bit before heading back to work. As for not making a mess in the microwave, you can use the SoftSnap Lid to cover the dish. All you need to do vent the lid before warming. My husband has absolutely loved his new Frego dish and I have loved the easy clean-up! I have had no problems putting the container in my dishwasher, which is a huge plus for me.
