My Husband is a traditional country boy. He grew-up on meat (beef) and potatoes. Everything his family ate was made by hand and from scratch. Since he and I met, I have tried to show him that healthier foods can also have delicious flavors. Recently, I had the chance to introduce my Husband to Krave Jerky.
Krave has the same philosophy that I do- yummy snacks don’t need to be junk foods. Krave offers jerky with gourmet flavors. They use high quality meats with natural seasonings. Krave jerky only has 1.5 grams of fat per serving. They contain approximately 50% less sodium and cholesterol than traditional jerky snacks. Krave jerky is a healthy snack and it’s easy to take with you anywhere.
For my review, I received a Krave Jerky sampler pack. It has five of Krave’s most popular flavors- Sweet Chipotle, Chili Lime, Smoky Grilled Teriyaki, Basil Citrus, and Lemon Garlic.
Sweet Chipotle beef jerky has flavors of smoky chipotle peppers and sweet honey. It has a bit of heat to wake up your taste buds. This flavor was my Husband’s favorite.
Chili Lime beef jerky combines refreshing citrus with the spiciness of chili. Personally, I love this one, but watch out, it’s addicting.
Smokey Grilled Teriyaki pork jerky is flavorful yet mild. You can taste the teriyaki flavors with a hint of smokiness. This jerky is more sweet than spicy. My youngest Daughter (3.5 years old) really likes this one.
Basil Citrus turkey jerky reminds me of Thanksgiving. It has flavors of turkey, fresh herbs and citrus. My oldest Daughter (almost 6 years old) has claimed this flavor as her favorite.
Lemon Garlic turkey jerky has a bold garlic flavor with fresh notes of lemon and black pepper. This is another favorite flavor of my Husband’s.
Krave’s artisanal jerky snacks are delicious! Everyone in my family has a favorite flavor.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
