I remember being excited when the power went out as a kid because I knew it meant we would play board games or card games. With everyone’s lives getting busier and busier, it seems like it gets harder to find time to spend as a family doing one activity – especially something that doesn’t involve a computer or TV screen. Board games are a great fun way to spend family time without having to carve out tons of time.
We’re all familiar with Charades, but Reverse Charades puts a fun twist on the game to make it even more fun. To play, a group acts out different clues for a single person to try to guess. The goal is for that one person to guess as many words as possible within 60 seconds. The game comes with 720 different words.
For families with younger children, Reverse Charades Junior is the same game but with more basic words that are easier for children to recognize and act out but there is still a total of 720 words. The Reverse Charades JR game is aimed at ages 6+. It would make a fun sleepover party game for kids especially in the winter when they need to get their wiggles and giggles out. It would also be a nice activity to set out during holiday get togethers for the kids.
If you play a lot and get too familiar with the 720 words included, there are expansion packs that are available for around $9.99 that provide extra words so you can keep playing. The expansion pack themes available are Girls Night In, Holiday and Sports.
