In 1976, Dana Taylor Davenport, a third generation confectioner, decided to open Dilettante Chocolate Company in Seattle. He had his family’s handed-down European style chocolate recipes and their support in his endeavor. Seattle welcomed him and his delectable treats. In 1985, Brian Davenport, Dana’s brother, joined the Dilettante team as head of operations. The company has had much success. Dilettante Chocolates are now sold throughout the US,Canada, the UK, Mexico and in parts of Asia.

For our review, we received Dilettante’s Candy Cane Chocolate Truffle Cremes and Chocolate Covered Fruit Medley.

Candy Cane Chocolate Truffle Cremes are a little pillow of holiday yummy-ness. They are made with double milk chocolate truffle ganache with natural candy cane pieces, and then coated in premium milk chocolate. To ensure their freshness, they are individually wrapped in foil.

These bite size treats taste luxurious. The chocolate is rich and creamy while the candy cane gives a feeling of cool crunchy snow. I love them!

Chocolate Covered Fruit Medley has dried cherries, blueberries, strawberries, and apricots enrobed in three chocolates- milk, dark, and white. As these sweet bites melt in your mouth, you get the creamy chocolate and then the bright fruit flavors.

These are really good. My Daughters (ages 3.5 and almost 6 years old) enjoyed these for an after dinner treat.

Dilettante only uses high quality and all natural ingredients. They never use fillers or artificial additives.

Dilettante Chocolates are on facebook.
