My Daughters love baking! At 4 and 6 years old, they are pretty good at following recipes on the back of baking mixes. Being in the kitchen with them is one of my favorite places to be. The problem I have is, most baking mixes are full of unhealthy ingredients. The girls and I have fun making the products but, I feel guilty when it comes time for them to eat the product. I knew that their had to be better baking mixes out there, it was just a matter of finding them. It wasn’t long after I began my search that I found Simply Organic.

For my review, I received Simply Organic Banana Bread mix and Pancake & Waffle mix. A bottle of Ground Cinnamon, from Frontier, a family brand. Eucalyptus and Lavender Essential Oils from Aura Cacia, another family brand.

Simply Organic offers a variety of mixes including baking, soup and dip. They also offer flavors, extracts, seasonings, sauces and dressings. Their Banana Bread mix is Gluten-free.  Cinnamon and allspice in the batter added a comforting flavor. My Daughters love it with a little peanut butter spread.

The Pancake & Waffle mix is also Gluten-free. It is organic and vegetarian as well. We added blueberries while the mix was on our griddle. The blueberry pancakes were scrumptious and helped make a wonderful family breakfast.

Frontier sells herbs, spices, teas, and more. Their products are natural, organic, and high quality.Frontier Cinnamon is organic and Fair Trade Certified. Cinnamon is one of the most widely used spices. It can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. I use cinnamon in many of my recipes; I love the warmth that it adds.

Aura Cacia specializes in aromatherapy products; they have a plethora of essential oils and skin care products.

Essential Oils are made from plants. They have wonderful healing properties and are a nice natural option to help with physical and mental ailments. Eucalyptus is well known for healing respiratory ailments. While Lavender aids in relaxation and renewing. Essential Oils can be used in several ways- room humidifiers, baths, or sprinkled around the room. I added these essential oils to my wool dryer balls. Now all our laundry comes out smelling like a clean spring day; it’s terrific.
