Scandle Candle in my words –
I received a travel sized Scandle Candle to review and wow. this was definitely a unique experience for me! I had never used hot oils before, but I love candles and doesn’t EVERYONE love massages? When the candle arrived I was excited but nervous. I had been told that the candles only burn 2 degrees above our body temperature – but I was still afraid it would be too hot for me. So I convinced my boyfriend to let me try it out on him first. He agreed and when I was using the wax/oil on him, it basically felt like a slightly more greasy lotion. But when he used it on me, it felt much different. I was surprised at how greasy it felt when massaging him, because when it was on my back it didn’t feel greasy at all. It almost felt a little pasty. But other than that, it basically felt like lotion – only much nicer because it was a nice warm – but not too hot at all.
Overall, I like the scandle candle – but after using it, and waiting a couple of hours, my back feels kinda oily – but I’m very sensitive to oil in lotions and things, and my boyfriend said he doesn’t feel oily at all. I definitely recommend that you give the Scandle Candle a try though because it’s definitely unique!
