organic coconut peanut butter from tropical traditions
Ryan & I really enjoy “real” peanut butter. You know, the kind that separates so you have to mix it up before you use it? It might be pricey but we buy it anyway, even though there are very few things that we are picky about like that. When I found out that tropical traditions makes organic coconut peanut butter i was intrigued. I like coconut and peanut butter, so I knew I wanted to give this a try. When it arrived it looked normal from the outside, but when I opened it I realized it was really liquefied. So liquefied that it would drip off of the spoon like honey or something similar. I read the label and saw that it should be stored in a cool place out of the light. I put it in a dark cupboard for a day and it was still liquid. So I tried putting it in the fridge. In the fridge it gets so hard that it isn’t spreadable, like the label says it will. So it’s very sensitive to the temperature and if you live in Michigan in the summer, it’s pretty impossible to keep it at the correct consistency. However, we have been leaving it in the fridge and then taking it out and using it once it’s at the correct consistency but before it melts, and it is VERY tasty! If you enjoy both peanut butter and coconut you are bound to love this. It has a great amount of coconut. I enjoy the coconut flavor most of the time, but sometimes it can be too overpowering for me, and this was just right for me. Ryan has really enjoyed this also. It is made entirely from organic peanuts and organic coconut. That’s it! How awesome is it to know that your coconut peanut butter is truly just coconuts and peanuts!

I would also love to try the TT organic soy free eggs. After reading the product description on the site, I did not realize that most eggs labeled “organic” are not fed soy free feed, but TT eggs are.
