I would spare you all from hearing about my resolutions, but I’ve always heard that if you write down your goals you are more likely to achieve them. So here they are:

I want to make it to blogher. Of course, I am going to continue to seek out sponsors but I also want to focus on my etsy shop and put any profits earned into a blogher savings. I also want to do a better job of ebaying items that I have laying around and don’t use and won’t use.

I want to regularly use coupons. Coupons have interested me for 6 months or more now but I’ve been too nervous to actually try it. However, I think it’s worth the risk of being treated rudely by cashiers, and I want to really give it an honest try.

I want to manage my internet time better. I want to post reviews/giveaways more often while spending less, or at least no more time online than I am spending now.

I want to make connections with companies interested in sponsored posts, so that I can put that money into a blogher fund as well. I’d love leads on this, if anyone knows great companies to work with.

I want to fully complete the six week kettleworx program (and continue it afterwards, lol). I have started it twice in the past but never made it through the six weeks. I do not exercise at all and I know that’s unhealthy. I am very short and so my bmi is higher than I would like it to be. I don’t have a set weight loss goal, but I think that if I were regularly doing kettleworx then I would be healthier and whatever weight it puts me at I would be accepting of. I do want to track my weight and plan to do so on here though, in case I do lose some weight maybe it’ll help me keep motivated. As of tonight I weigh 124.4.

I want to finally get my drivers license!

I would like to continue to make our lives more ‘green’. I would like to completely eliminate old (bpa containing) plastic from our bowls, storage containers, cups, etc. I also plan to slowly make our clothing more eco-friendly, though I know this is a slow process as bamboo and organic cotton are so expensive. I hope to find additional ways to make our lives more eco-friendly, when affordable and logical for us.

Wow that’s a lot. I want to throw in that these aren’t ‘musts’ just, hopes/dreams/goals, haha. Hopefully at least half of them will really happen. 🙂

Wishing you luck and ~ Happy New Year ~

  • Good goals! I also have time management on my list. Sometimes I can spend way too much time on one review. Coupons is a good one, I forgot about that. I use them, but would like to use them a lot more regularly.
    Happy New Year! 🙂

Good luck with your resolutions. They are quite realistic. I haven’t sat down to seriously consider mine in way too long. This year I really need to do some serious consideration of some good resolutions to make a positive difference this year.
    Have a great 2011.
