I couldn’t begin to count how many times I’ve heard conversations centered around old candy that isn’t sold in stores anymore. As young as I am, most of the candy I enjoyed as a kid is still for sale, but there are a few things that aren’t that I do really miss. However, for my parents and grandparents it’s nearly impossible to find some of their old favorites. At least, that’s what I thought before I discovered Old Time Candy Company. The old time candy company has a great selection of old fashioned candy that you can order from them. So, for example, if you wanted a tootsie roll bank you could go buy one for just $.99. Or if you want several, many of their candies are listed by the case too. So you could buy 24 banks for $22.49. In addition to being able to search for specific candy that you miss, you can also buy boxes that include tons of candy from a certain decade. I was sent the 1980’s 4lb candy box for review. I’m not sure if you’re aware how much 4lbs of candy is – but it’s a LOT! We were so excited to start picking through the box and we still have a ton leftover. Each box has over 70 pieces of candy, so the retail price of 29.99 is a great value. Especially when you consider that so many of the candies included are really hard to find. I plan to keep old time candy company in mind for fathers day, as I know my dad would love to get the 50’s box!
