I love new jeans. I don’t think it’s possible to have too many pairs of jeans. I recently got to try out some jeans from Hello! Skinny Jeans, and I love them. Skinny Jeans makes jeans that are denim with a high nylon/elastane content, which allows them to hold shape better than your traditional jeans. Skinny Jeans are jeans that slim your appearance. They have elasticity, but they don’t get droopy at the end of the day. Most of my jeans fit loser in the afternoon or evening than they do in the morning – and rewearing them is impossible because they “grow” so much. Not these jeans. The skinny jeans hold their shape after wear, and while being worn feel firm – like they pull you in, without feeling tight or uncomfortable. I was sent the Skinny P’s to check out. This pair is designed specifically with the petite in mind, and come with a shorter rise than other jeans, and are available in several inseam lengths, going as short as 29 inches. My inseam is 27 inches, so these don’t quite get short enough for me, but much closer than usual so I’m happy! I typically purchase clothing from the Juniors department and wear a size 5 in jeans, so I was a bit unsure on sizing, as their sizes run from 23-34 and their size chart asks you to convert over from misses sizes (even numbers). I was fitted for a bridesmaids dress fairly recently, and was a size 2, so I assumed I would be either a 2 or a 4 in misses jeans. I asked for a size 26 for review (the smaller size suggested for size 4) and they fit pretty well. The thighs and butt area of these jeans fit me great, but the waist gaps a bit. The waist of the Hello! skinny jeans is higher than I’m used to, but overall I have enjoyed wearing them. I love how they don’t get too big at the end of the day like almost all of my other jeans. The fact that I can wear them more often, by being able to wear them twice before washing makes them more valuable for me than other jeans that I can’t use as often. Overall I’m really happy with my Skinny Jeans.
