Wow…very cool! I used to live in Ohio (in Akron) and never visited Toledo. I sure do miss fried pickles, though. In the Philly area, I’ve yet to find a place that makes them. I’ve stopped asking, because people give me the weirdest looks when I do. 🙁

We will definitely look for Tony Packo’s if/when we go to/through Toledo. It sounds like just the type of place we would enjoy.

Which restaurant did you visit? The one on Front Street (near downtown), if it’s still there???, is the original. We used to go there when I was a kid to eat and listen to the Cakewalkin’ Jazz Band! (And, yeah, those pickles will knock your socks off!)

Tony Packo’s is amazing. I live in Toledo and I can never get sick of it. I even worked there for 3 years when I was younger and couldn’t get enough of it even helped me gain that freshman 15+! LOL! The Chicken Paprikash is to die for!
