Today I bring to you Uncommon Goods. Uncommon Goods is the perfect place to shop for that person on your list who has everything. Uncommon Goods is also a great place to shop for people who like geeky, nerdy or unique gifts. Ryan’s whole extended family exchanges christmas gifts so i’m always looking for interesting gifts like these.
I love finding products that are designed to look like something else entirely. Like a nail brush shaped like a nail or fortune cookie slippers. These are the exact type of gifts you can find at uncommongoods.com. I was sent two products to review so I chose one for me and one for Ryan. For me, I selected Phillips Head Screw Earrings. They are sterling silver and look just like the head of a phillips screw. They were slightly larger than I realized, but not too big or heavy to feel like they were stretching my ears or anything. I am sensitive to a lot of metals but these have worked great for me. Seems how they are such a neat design, a lot of people notice them and comment about how unique they are. Some stud earrings have very lose backings but these ones are nice and tight, they don’t move unless they are intentionally being pulled apart. This is great for me, as I have a tendency to sit and pull the backs off and on while I’m daydreaming or whatever, and sometimes end up losing the backs. With these I can’t just “thoughtlessly” play with them because they don’t move. Love that.

men's shark socksFor Ryan I got a pair of shark socks. They are designed to look like sharks, but the ‘shark’ portion of the sock is high up on the ankle/lower leg so if you are wearing these with pants they just appear to be plain blue socks, so they can be worn more often. They are soft and on the thinner side, which is great for Ryan who has wider feet so sometimes thicker socks make his shoes fit uncomfortably tight.

I’m definitely going to keep uncommon goods in mind as ideas for people who have everything or even >gifts for mom like these.
