nalgene on the flyWhen I’m on the go or at school, I like to keep a drink nearby. I recently received two nalgene water bottles for review. I’ve been using the bottles for a couple of weeks and have really enjoyed them both.

I received an On The Fly water bottle for review in Red. The bottle is BPA free and dishwasher safe, making it super convenient to use and wash. The lid has a pushable button that opens the lid, so you can open the lid and drink with one hand. The cap shuts very tightly and has a metal bit that locks it closed. There’s no way the lid would accidentally pop open, but it might be a bit difficult for children to open and close because it does take some force. It’s a great size for me, as I don’t feel like I have to refill it all the time but it’s still very easy to carry around, and fits inside of the drink holder in our truck and also fits into the end pocket on my backpack with ease. The bottle is even made in the USA!

nalgene multidrinkThe other nalgene bottle I was sent for review is the multidrink. The multidrink is about the same size as the on the fly bottle, so it also fits really well inside of the cup holder in the car, and the drink pocket on my backpack, etc. It is also BPA free and dishwasher safe. The lid on this bottle is really unique in that you can drink out of it two ways. There is a screw cap that opens a large hole so you can get a big drink. The cap is attached to the lid so it can’t come completely off and get lost. The other option for drinking out of this lid is a straw which pulls out or can be hidden inside the cap itself. Depending on how far out you pull the small straw, the amount of “flow” changes. There’s also a sliding button on top of the lid that allows the straw to be locked into position.

Disclaimer – I received two water bottles for the purposes of this review. No other form of compensation was offered or accepted. All opinions are my own.

My daughter has one of these and loves it. She has been making an effort to make her household completely BPA free. Switching to the newer nalgene bottles was one of her choices.
