Ryan’s not a brand conscious guy. So when I accepted a review of some gold toe socks, and he said “Oh those are goldtoe?? They’re the best brand.” I was surprised. At the same time, it made sense. For Ryan, any event that requires wearing dress clothes is somewhat uncomfortable as he’s just a laid back guy. So, little things like having comfortable socks to wear in his dress shoes make the events easier. The socks are high quality, sleek and smooth. Ryan wasn’t surprised at all that he really enjoyed the dress socks. 
Neither of us was aware that goldtoe also makes boot socks as part of the powersocks line which are super thick, super warm socks that are great if you plan to work outside in the winter (or if you are going sledding with the kids!). The boot socks we were sent are intended for men, but they sent a medium pair and a large pair, so I quickly claimed the smaller pair for myself. My feet get cold so easily in the winter and I know these socks will be great for days when I’ll be out for a long time in the snow. They are nice and thick so they wouldn’t fit well in most regular fitting shoes. In michigan we get lots of snow, so having a good pair of boots and warm socks is a must. I’d definitely recommend checking out the gold toe boot socks if you have winters like we do here.

My husband is also particular about the socks he wears. I’ll have to check these out. He likes good cushioning on the soles.
