Ryan likes convenience foods. He likes to eat when he’s hungry, without having to start cooking an hour before he’s truly hungry. Of course, there are only so many foods that can be made extremely quickly, so when I don’t cook he ends up making a lot of sandwiches and other quick meals. TGI Friday’s has came out with a line of frozen meals called T.G.I. FRiDAY’S “Entrées for One” which are great for guys like Ryan. Or girls who hate to cook, too! They include meals like steak fajitas, chicken and broccoli Alfredo and sesame orange chicken. They can be taken out of the freezer and made ready to eat in under 10 minutes making them super convenient even for the busiest of people. The steak fajitas that we tried tasted great, too. I personally was a bit afraid to try meat that was frozen and then cooked in the microwave for just a couple of minutes, but it really did taste just like regular steak. Ryan enjoyed it and loved how he didn’t have to wait around on it.

We seldom use freezer meals except when we are traveling and have access to a microwave or when I worked, for a quick lunch. Quality does vary. When they are good you can enjoy them. When they are bad, they can be terrible. These sound like some to look for and try.

Yeah I was really surprised at how well the meat tasted. Before trying these I would have never spent money on a meal like this that claims to cook meat in 60 seconds. Even just saying that sounds gross, but the fajita was good. The rice wasn’t my cup of tea. I can see these meals being popular among male college students or bachelors, in particular.
