Have you ever wondered the “True Story of Puss ‘N Boots”? The true story of Puss ‘N Boots, as originally told by French author Charles Perrault, is being brought to life by Phase 4 Films. It is set to be released on DVD October 4th 2011. Emmy and Golden Globe winner William Shatner is the enchanting voice of Puss.
This is a really cute family movie. It starts out with a boy, Pete, inheriting a talking cat that seems to have magical red leather boots. Pete falls in love with the beautiful Princess but, the Princess already has a love in her life. Puss is determined to help Pete get the princess to fall in love with him. The two set out on a fun filled adventure. Will they succeed? Will their dreams come true? How much trouble will Puss get them into?
The day we received this movie, both my girls had the flu. We set up a big bed on our front room floor and popped this movie in. MUCH to my surprise, they watched entire movie. Even when they felt pretty crummy, they still giggled along with Puss and his adventures. It’s not to often that my girls sit through a movie. I couldn’t help but, wonder if they would like it as much when they were feeling better. A few days later, I turned the movie back on. They sat through most of it…more than they normally do!
This movie has a great underlying message that you can accomplish your dreams no matter who you are or what your circumstances are.
This movie is rated G and runs 79 minutes.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
