We do listen Foundation produces book, posters, songs, games and lessons to help children feel good about themselves. They want to teach children how to stand up for themselves in violent situations. Children that feel comfortable standing up for themselves are better able to solve conflicts in life.
Howard B. Wigglebottom is the star of the show at We Do Listen. Howard is an adorable little bunny learning some big life lessons.
We were blessed with a copy of Howard B. Wigglebottom and the Power of Giving: A Christmas Story. The timing could not have been better! Before we got to far into the holiday season, I wanted to remind my girls of what was really important.
We read Howard B. Wigglebottom and the Power of Giving: A Christmas Story. Then we started a conversation with our girls (2.5 and almost 5) about what we could do to help those less fortunate. We decided to clean out our storage room, sort through closets and share some of our toys and games. They really had a good time rediscovering all their past treasures and talking about who could possibly receive the items we were donating. Of course we ran into a few items that they didn’t want to get rid of but, we just talked about how Howard and the lesson(s) he had learned in the story.
Howard B. Wigglebottom is a great teaching tool! I think any of the Howard B. Wigglebottom books would make a GREAT gift this Christmas.
“Howard Binkow has dedicated his life to helping children learn how to listen and feel good about themselves. He is one of the authors of the Howard B. Wigglebottom series. Susan F. Cornelison is a full-time illustrator who has illustrated many books including the Howard B. Wigglebottom series.”
You can learn more about Howard B. Wigglebottom and his lessons on his website, Facebook, and Twitter.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
