Emily Reviews Holiday Gift Guide
My goodness the creative juices are flowing at Wonder Forge games! We were blessed this week with four new Wonder Forge games!

Angelina Ballerina Dance with Me game-

“Angelina Ballerina is the star of the show – and guess who she wants on stage, too? YOU! Practice the dance moves, step by step. Every time you play, it’s a new ballet routine! When showtime arrives, turn on the music and take center stage!” Age: 3+  Number of Players: 2 or more

What little girl doesn’t love Angelina Ballerina. This game was a huge hit for both girls. They could hardly sit still; they were twirling all night long. (Savannah is off dancing in the picture.)

Chuggington Traintastic Cargo game-

“A trainload of surprises is chugging into the depot! Can you find the right cargo? Look inside the boxcars for the shapes, colors and numbers you need. But watch out — you never know when Old Puffer Pete will chug around the track and mix up everything! It’s a fun game of memory, pattern matching and discovery!” Age: 3+  Number of Players: 1 or more

This is a fun new spin on the memory game. The girls got a little frustrated with the actual game set up but enjoyed seeing who had the best memory.

Richard Scarry’s Busytown Busy, Busy Airport game-

“It’s a busy, busy day at the airport– and you’re the pilot! Set up “destination” game boards around the room. Load your plane with your favorite Busytown characters and wait for the “all clear” for take-off. Then fly to faraway places – the beach, mountains, the city, and more. Collect souvenirs wherever you go.” Age: 3+  Number of Players: 2 to 4

The girls enjoyed coming up with different places to fly to. We have family in a few states so they would pretend they were flying to see Cousin Gage in Arizona or Cousin William in Washington. It was a fun game and lesson in geography.

Chuggington Let’s Ride The Rails! Game-

“Help the Chuggington trainees Wilson, Brewster and Koko bring the farm animals to the County Fair – but there’s a mystery animal who is already there! Which is it? Players work together to move the beautifully sculpted chugger figurines along the gigantic game-board, picking up farm animals and discovering who the mystery animal might be. When all the trains arrive at the fair, see if you can guess the mystery animal. If your guess is correct, you’re a winner!” Age: 3+  Number of Players: 1 or more

A Family fun game with team work and problem solving lessons. My only complaint about this game is how big the board is, it’s 4 feet long. That can be difficult to fit on your gaming table to where everyone can reach it. After we were done playing, Cheyenne enjoyed “racing” the trains! Koko won in case you were wondering. 🙂

If I was FORCED to choose one favorite game, it would be a struggle but, I/we would choose the Angelina Ballerina game. Simply because Angelina is the favorite character with the girls…for now.

Wonder Forge has games for all ages; they make WONDERFUL gifts for everyone in the family!
