Bronte & Frank go to Moscow by Megan Worthy

My Thoughts:

I am very impressed with this book and I learned a lot from it.  It is well put together and exposes the read not only to a book about Moscow but also the Russian alphabet, language and culture.  I feel that it is important that our children understand that there are different cultures and expose them to the difference in ways that they can understand and books are one of the best ways.  The illustrations are outstanding and really add to the depth of the story.  And the story itself is written in a fashion that even children as young as 3 would be able to understand what is going on.  This also includes a CD that had music and other things to accompany the book.  I can see why this book has won awards as it is put together well.   I am looking forward to more from Megan Worthy.  I love a children’s book that I can learn a lot from along side my children.

This book can be purchased from Amazon and is for sure an educational yet fun pick for kids of many different ages.  While yes it is a picture book, it is so much more!
