Noel Joanna Inc. (NoJo) is a company founded by Shirley Pepys and her son Noel with input from well-known and respected pediatrician Dr. William Sears MD.  NoJo creates and markets fashionable and functional products for babies and their parents.   These products are not your ordinary everyday run-of-the-mill items.   NoJo products incorporate contemporary designs combined with exquisite fabrics and creative/unique prints.  Combined, these qualities really make their products stand out from others on the market.

For our review, we received an Adjustable Sling in the Lola print.  The fabric is so so so soft that I can only imagine any baby snuggling in it, will immediately feel safe and comforted.  Some slings are so scratchy and rough that they even irritate the parent’s neck so I can only imagine what they feel like to baby.  That isn’t the case with the Balboa Baby sling.   Unfortunately, my Niece Jordyn hasn’t yet been born so I can’t yet share with you her thoughts about the sling but if they’re anywhere near how I feel about it, she’ll be cooing her praises for anyone who wants to listen.

I’m particularly excited to use the Balboa Baby Adjustable Sling because while I will be providing daycare for Jordyn I will also have her 5 year old Brother, My 5 year old Daughter, and my 3 year old Daughter; I will need my hands free to be able to care for all the children in many different situations. My own comfort is also very important and this product was designed with that in mind.  Because this sling was designed by a pediatrician and tested thoroughly for its safety and versatility, I feel very confident that this deep pocket sling will not only allow me to move freely but will also remove any concern I might have about Jordyn being safe and secure.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast.
