Squinkies Zinkies are the NEW addition to the Squinkies family. Blip Toys is proud to announce the arrival of these teeny tiny new characters. Modeled after the popular larger Squinkies figures; Squinkies Zinkies are soft and squishy teeny tiny little character that are approximately the same size as a pea. They like to hide in little places including bubbles about the same size as a dime.
There are 100s of cute little characters and fun play sets for your Squinkies Zinkies collection, including Barbie, Hello Kitty, Disney Princess, Hot Wheels, Cars 2, and Marvel Universe figures. For our review, we received the Tiny Tea Party Teacups play set and the Peek a Boo! Mushrooms play set. These exciting sets each came with 12 Squinkies Zinkies, 12 multicolored bubbles, 1 display, 1 magnifier and 1 pair of tweezers. Both the Mushroom and Teacups play sets provide many hiding spaces and fun for all of the Squinkies Zinkies characters.
The girls (2.5 years and 5 years old) had fun with Squinkies Zinkies but, often got frustrated when they couldn’t open the bubbles themselves or place the characters in their hiding spots. I would assume that this is why Blip Toys included tweezers and a magnifier but,
those aren’t really skills my girls have had much practice with. The suggested age on Squinkies Zinkies is four years old and up but, I think that might be a little young.
Fun to collect and trade; you can find all the Squinkies Zinkies characters, play sets and accessories on their website, Facebook, and twitter pages.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

Cute toys. I am curious as to the age recommendation on the package.(Sorry, I just saw it. That’s what I get for skimming the article) The fine motor skills required are beyond most children 4 and under. The tiny pieces seem smaller than those recommended for young children. We had some tiny play set when our children were young and our grandchildren play with them now, but not until they are old enough to handle it.
The sets do look like fun for children who can sit still long enough.
