Kena was developed while founder Kendra was training for her fist half-marathon. Kena was designed to offer athletes, on any level, well-designed, attractive, and comfortable activewear. Kendra wanted clothing that would encourage us to challenge ourselves to live a more active lifestyle. She also wanted products that supported the environment, social stewardship, and strong women.Kendra knows that as Moms, our children learn from watching us. She wanted to set an example showing that setting goals and working towards them is part of living an enjoyable and rewarding life.
For my review, I received the Kena Active Alphabet Bamboo Tee in the Sky color. The Alphabet Bamboo Tee has a fun graphic on the front using every letter of the alphabet to describe a vigorous and energetic performance. The tee itself is made with 70% viscose bamboo and 30% organic cotton; it washes and wears very well. I appreciate the longer length in the abdomen area; it really bugs me when I have to stop what I am doing to pull my shirts down or my pants up just to make sure my stomach is covered.

In case you have never had bamboo clothing, it has a wonderful wicking property that is great for active wear. It is naturally anti-bacterial, odor repelling, and bio-degradable. It is best to wash bamboo textiles in cold water with mild detergents and then hang them to dry.
You can find Kena on their website, Facebook, and twitter pages.
TWO lucky winners are going to receive Kena letter shirts, in their choice of size and color. This giveaway is open to the US AND Canada and will end on 5/07.
