Ryan grew up watching the various superhero shows that were on in the 80’s and early 90’s. He still is fond of some of his favorite characters, and it’s fun to see how they still interest lots of little boys today. Simply superheroes is a website that caters to both modern superhero fans and grown up superhero fans alike. You can find items for kids such as party invitations, clothing, costumes, plush superhero toys and more. I must admit that they have two items that I will absolutely have to buy for my future (distant future!) children. How adorable are these??
They also have lots of items for adults such as clothing, ties, key chains, mugs and more. I was sent a pair of Superman socks with capes for Ryan to review. The socks are suitable for either gender, for people ages 14 and older. In the photographs I am wearing them, I fit a size 7.5 women’s shoe and they are large on me, but they fit Ryan very well and he wears a men’s size 11. Based on that, I think these would be best fit for men or for women with a larger shoe size. They are very thin (I can see my toenail polish through the sock), and the tops don’t stay up well on the leg, and as they slide down the capes get closer to the ground, and get stepped on. I would say they aren’t too practical for wearing, but they make for a fun gift. In addition to the superman socks, there is also wonder woman and batman socks available that also have capes.

Super cute! I’m always looking for comic-themed gifts for my Ogre.
Thanks for this review. I have been thinking about getting my hubby a pair of these for his birthday, but I expected he could wear them to work (hey, who’d know?!). However, I think I might wait until they either improve the quality (hope they do!). Bummer to read they aren’t quite what I thought, but I’m glad to read it here rather than find out the hard way! Thank you!
