Almondina is a great low salt, low calorie snack. I love crackers so I figured these would be a tasty treat to have around. Once I realized they were healthy I was ecstatic as I am watching my calorie intake. You can have 4 cookies for anywhere from 99-138 calories, which isn’t bad. There are several different flavors including original, sesame, bran, gingerspice, cinnamon and chocolate cherry. Almondina cookies have almonds and raisins in every bite which I love! The original, cinnamon and chocolate biscuits are my all time favorite.
I am not much of a morning person so I thoroughly enjoyed having a couple of biscuits with my coffee. Being crunchy they are quite filling and hold me until lunch. I love that! I think the sesame biscuits are great with cheese, which still makes for a healthier snack then most. My 3 year old loves them and I can honestly say that I don’t mind him running to the kitchen to get a cookie. He loves the chocolate, gingerspice and cinnamon, but he will eat the original as well. He wasn’t a big fan of the sesame or bran. My husband on the other hand, didn’t like any of them. He isn’t a fan of any type of crunchy biscuits or crackers/cookies. He prefers everything chewy so it was no surprise to me that he didn’t like them. Oh well! More for Little C and myself!

These sound like they would be good with a cup of something hot – coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Something I’ll have to look for.
