According to the company, balanced nutrition provides 40% of calories from carbohydrates, 30% of calories from protein, and 30% of calories from dietary fat. The BARE bars mix nuts and oats with natural sweeteners to create a delicious experience for your taste buds.

For my review, I received the Balance Bar BARE Father’s Day Gift Set; I think this will be a perfect gift for my health conscious hubby. Between a physically grueling job and trips to the gym, my husband is always searching for a healthy, protein packed snack to help him keep his energy up and hold him over between meals. The gift set includes a 15 Bar Variety Pack of Balance Bar BARE bars, a Balance Bar water bottle, and an adorable Balance Bar card with two bears wrestling and the saying “It’s plain to see, you’re the best dad in history. You deserve a “BARE” hug!” My son is very excited to see his dad’s face when he opens it.

The water bottle is packaged in a handsome black box so there’s no need to spend any extra time wrapping it. The BPA-free water bottle has a dust lid, which will be perfect for keeping the mouth piece clean and sanitary – even if it happens to fall on the floor of the car and roll around for a while on the way to the store (which I know happens to me almost daily). It also features a special cut-out that holds a BARE Bar for your convenience.

The variety pack of bars includes 15 bars; 5 each of three flavors – Sweet & Salty Chocolate Almond, Sweet & Salty Peanut Butter, and Blueberry Acai. Each bar contains 15 grams of protein, 6-7 grams of whole grains, and 4-5 grams of fiber (the Blueberry Acai flavor has the lowest amount of fiber at 4 grams). Each bar is 200 calories with 7 grams of fat, and is sweetened with Organic Agave and Brown Rice Syrup.
