The Beauty Spoon (a product of Alexa Brands) came about because the company’s founder was tired of throwing away unused skin care products simply because she couldn’t get to them at the bottom of the bottle. There’s nothing complicated about the thought behind the invention and development of the Beauty Spoon that and there’s nothing complicated about the Beauty Spoon itself. Just the way I like it. Something simple and easy to use.
The Beauty Spoon comes in two sizes. One is 7 inches long and the other is 10 inches long. There’s a small spatula-like end that allows you to scrap out the very last bit of oil/cream/lotion before throwing away the container. With skin care products costing so much, this is a great and inexpensive way to get your money’s worth every time.
I can’t wait to use the Beauty Spoon with my shampoo and conditioner bottles. Right now, in order to get the very last bit of shampoo or conditioner, I add a little water to the bottle….and it never fails that I forget this before it’s time to use the product again and I end up squirting it out all over my hand or head and it ends up going down the drain anyway.
I also have several skin care products that come in tubes. What I do now, is cut the tube down the side when I can no longer squeeze any product out and I can use my neat little Beauty Spoon to scrape out the last remaining bit. I’ve been able to recover several weeks worth of concealer this way!
The Beauty Spoon may have been intended for bath and body products but I can see myself using this in the kitchen also!
