For my review I received the Flower Power Lime shoe from the Boumy Appliqué line. I absolutely love the bright lime color accented with bold blue flowers, which would definitely make a bold and fun addition to any outfit; they’re feminine and girly without being pink or frilly. I saw the design online before I received the shoe, but the colors are much more vibrant in person and the leather is undeniably soft and, I would imagine, very comfortable to wear.
The thin elastic band makes these shoes slip on easily without the hassle of laces or Velcro, but still keeps them securely in place. The sole of the shoe is made of a soft suede which seems to offer more of a grip than the smooth leather that makes up the rest of the shoe, but still seems slick enough to allow slipping if your little one makes a run for it on a non-carpeted surface. The sole is not, in my opinion, sturdy enough for a stroll outside, but that’s also the appeal of this line of shoes because it does allow small feet to move freely.
Personally, I would be happy to add a few more pairs of these adorable shoes to my daughter’s wardrobe. The undeniably stylish designs paired with the foot-friendly craftsmanship make them a must have in my book.
