Fitbit.com is a relative new company but don’t think for one minute that they aren’t experienced.   Fitbit.com’s founders and partners/officers have a no nonsense approach when it comes to satisfying their customers.    Not only do they have a mastery of technology, but they also know how to package, market, and make their products user friendly.    Fitbit.com makes it almost impossible for their clients (and yes, I feel like a client rather than a customer because Fitbit.com didn’t just provide me with a product, they provided a website, education, and follow-up information) to not be successful at meeting their goal(s).  Whether it’s a weight loss goal, a goal to increase activity, or one to make more sensible food choices; it’s as though they’re on this journey right along with me.

For my review, Fitbit.com graciously provided me with a Fitbit Ultra.  Oh my gosh!   I’m in love!  No kidding.   What an amazing device!    My Fitbit ultra goes everywhere with me.    I can clip it on the front of my bra and if that doesn’t work, it easily slips on the waistband of my pants.   It’s only about ½ inch wide and maybe 1-1/2 inches long so is not noticeable at all.

The packaging of the Fitbit Ultra says that it “makes getting in shape as addictive as checking Facebook and Twitter” and they’re not kidding.  I can’t wait to wake up in the morning and go to my computer so it can enter the time that I went to bed and the time that I got out of bed so the Fitbit ultra can automatically “read” my sleep patterns/efficiency.    No wonder I was waking up tired….the Fitbit ultra told me that I wake up between 11 and 15 times every night!

Another thing I love about my Fitbit Ultra is that when I enter the foods that I have eaten throughout the day, it keeps track of how many calories I can still consume without going over my targeted amount.

If you don’t like websites and only want to know how many steps your taking, the number of flights you’re walking and the amount of calories you’re burning, just unclip the Fitbit ultra and push the little button at the top of the device and all of the information is right there for you to read.

What isn’t there to like about the Fitbit Ultra?   I certainly can’t think of a single thing I would change or improve.   The folks at Fitbit.com have definitely come up with a device that makes me want to stick to my diet and exercise routine.   It’s actually fun….and is more like playing a game with myself as the other opponent.

You can find Fitbit Ultra on their website, facebook, and twitter pages.
