I am on my feet A LOT in my kitchen. We don’t have a dishwasher so I spend hours out of my day over the sink. GelPro Gel mats understands this problem and has made a product to help my aching back. GelPro sent me a Willow Fern Gel mat to try out and it has certainly exceeded my expectations.

I found it has been helping my knees, back, and ankles and I could tell almost immediately I was going to really enjoy using it. The Gel mats are made with some sort of shock-absorbing inner core. They did a lot of research finding the right core materials. I recall being very surprised at how heavy the product was when it arrived in the mail. The only complaint we have had so far is that my mate has stubbed his toe on it in the night many times as he was getting used to it being placed there and apparently heaviness is not ideal when it comes to that. That being said, I think it makes a lovely addition to my kitchen floor. It comes in a variety of earth-based colors and several different textures from which to choose that should satisfy most folks. The mat is easy to clean and is actually stain resistant, which is nice because I can’t say I never spill on my floor in my kitchen forays. The Gel Mat has really nice traction on the bottom and seems as if it could be used on the slipperiest of floors.
