Gigi Hill was started by two soccer moms, Gabrielle DeSantis-Cummings and Monica Hillman, that desired to combine fashion and function into the ultimate handbag for a busy life. Every bag is designed to be of the highest quality and includes a pocket for everything, from water bottles to cell phones to lipstick. The vision of the company is a line that is modern and chic yet feminine, a collection that bridges the gap where fashion and function collide.

For my review I received the Audrey bag in a Noir-Bordeaux print, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how stylish and sturdy the bag really is; the pictures online do not do it justice. The outside of the bag is the Noir print, which is a gorgeous black and white paisley pattern, while the inside is the Bordeaux print, which is made up of deep red, green, pink and black stripes. The material of the bag seems to be sturdy and easy to clean and care for – which is a huge plus for a busy mom whose bag comes in contact with a lot of “icky” things throughout the day.

The bag is larger than I thought it would be, but the size makes it very versatile. Personally, I feel it’s too large to carry as an everyday purse, but I would use it for a range of other things. It’s sophisticated and large enough to tote my laptop and other work materials to and from the office, and sturdy enough to fill with whatever I need to survive a day on the town with the kids. It would make a great carry on if you travel a lot, or to fill with essentials for a weekend away. There is literally a pocket for everything inside the bag – there are two pockets that would be ideal for a cell phone or a bottle of water, a large zipper pocket, and several other pockets along the sides that can help organize whatever you’re carrying. My favorite organizational feature is the keychain which keeps my keys right where I want them to be, instead of buried on the bottom of my bag.
