Russell Gray and Robert Cone founded a company called Graco Metal Products in 1942. They fabricated machine and car parts up until 1953 when Gray left the company. Robert Cone wanted to take the business in a different direction. He befriended engineer and artist David Saint.

David Saint was a Father of 9. After hearing stories from an acquaintance about soothing a cranky baby in the backyard swing, he had an idea for a new Graco product. After 18 months in design, Graco introduced the world’s first wind-up infant swing called the Graco Swyngomatic. The Swyngomatic was a HUGE success; sales far surpassed company predictions! From this point on, Graco started producing baby gear and doing it very well. Graco continues to sell products that are loved and trusted by millions of families.

For our review, we received the Graco Highback TurboBooster, in the Kallie fashion. The Graco Highback TurboBooster has an adjustable head support, padded armrests, and a belt loop guide to help properly position the seatbelt strap. It is made with EPS, energy absorbing foam for safety. The booster can be used with or without the highback.

Assembly of the Graco Highback TurboBooster was easy; snap a few pieces together, screw them down, and finish with the decorative comfort pads. Savannah (5) loves her new booster; her favorite features are the cup holders. I asked her if she likes the Kallie print and she said “it’s really pretty and cool!” Savannah is just getting to the Oregon booster weight. We haven’t had the opportunity test the boosters comfort on a long car ride but, just sitting in it, she says it is “cozy.”

You can find all the Graco baby gear on their website, facebook, and twitter pages.
