Spring in Michigan can be a wonderful “early summer” reason or just an overdue version of winter, depending on the year. This year we have had a mix of both, having temperatures in the 70’s back in February and just last week having frost on the car windshield in the morning. Summer is coming though and during the hot days we have been using the Lasko Model 2027 Table Fan to help keep us cool. As you can see below, the fan came in a bunch of pieces and at first glance seemed a bit intimidating. I was surprised to learn that it requires no tools for assembly, you just place the parts, snap some pieces together, do some twisting and it is ready to go.
This fan is fairly small at 12 inches, making it the perfect size to fit on top of an end table or night stand but for being so small, it has certainly helped us stay cool. We have proped our Lasko fan up in front of our window in the evenings, with the fan blowing air into the room, and as soon as the sun just barely starts to set, this fan does wonders for bringing the cooler outdoor air inside. It has 3 speeds that you toggle between by twisting a silver band near the base.
The casing around the blades simply snaps together which means it can easily come off to be cleaned if it gathers dust. While I do notice how quiet it seems after the fan is turned off, it isn’t that noticeable while on — I’ve definitely experienced more noisy fans. It is small, so it won’t cool down a real large area but I think it is perfect for a bedroom or other relatively small room. While the lasko 2027 isn’t the most fancy “bells and whistles” fan, it meets all of my expectations and priced at just 24.99 at target, I think it’s well worth it for the amount of comfort it will provide you during the summer months.

Only $24.99? That sounds like a really great price.
I don’t think I could put it together though (I just suck at building things, lol) but that’s what boyfriends are for XD!
