Corkcicle in an ingenious way to keep your wine at just the right drinking temperature. No more drippy ice buckets that sometimes cost an arm and a leg and always take up space when you’re not using them. Yippy!
When wine is opened and placed in an ice bucket, it can become too chilled/cold after just 45 minutes. If you open your wine and just place it on the counter for your guests to enjoy, within 45 minutes, the wine will be too warm.
What’s the answer? A Corkcicle! No muss, no fuss and it’s eco-friendly because it’s reusable.
The Corkcicle is a small diameter ice-sickle like object that you put in the freezer for at least 2 hours before using. Once it’s frozen, you open your favorite bottle of chilled wine and pour a little for yourself. That will give you space for the Corkcicle to be placed in the bottle without having the wine spill out over the top. Wouldn’t want to waste any!
I’ve used mine twice now and it stays frozen for quite a while. Both times, I’ve been able to remove the Corkcicle, wash it, and place it back in the freezer before it has had time to thaw so I can’t honestly tell you how long it stays frozen.
Corkcicles are non-toxic; however, it’s important to check your Corkcicle before you insert it into a bottle of wine. If you see any signs of leakage or a crack in the Corkcicle, please discard it. I guess that’s all the more reason to have more than one on hand!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

How cool is that? My hubs just started enjoying wine, this would be really great!
What an ingenious idea! My wine usually don’t last long enough to get warm. 🙂
