When I was a kid I always wanted a gumball machine. I remember going to the local drug store with my grandparents when I was a little girl. And when I was good, my Grandpa would give me a nickel to put in it and give myself a treat. I could not imagine ever having one inside my home; so when Gumball.com offered to send me a Carousel Junior Gumball Machine Gift Pack I was excited. The gumball machine was heavy and sturdy and came with 2 bags of gumballs that tasted really good. It has a glass bulb for the top that can easily (and inexpensively) replaced on their site.
The kids really liked that it was also a bank. It will take any denomination of coin or can be set to just freely give out gumballs, but we liked the idea of saving money in it. We used quarters so had quite a chunk of change after we chewed up the first bag of gumballs! I also like the idea that you can stick any number of small candies and such in it as well, such as M&Ms, Skittles, or small nuts. All of which they sell on their site.

Gumball.com sells many varieties of Gumball and other vending machines including the Old-Fashioned Gumball Machine that used to be in the old-school drugstore from my youth. I guess I really wasn’t aware that one could buy such a high quality gumball machine in this day and age. These would make a great present for someone of any age. Kids will enjoy the gum and the bank aspect, while older folks will probably enjoy the nostalgia more than anything else.
