No matter how fancy toys get or how advanced the technology, sometimes simple really is better. Thinking back to when I was a child, some of my most fun and educational toys were blocks. You can do so much with blocks, obviously you can use them for building but you can also use them to help children picture and solve math problems. I heard lots of giggles coming from the bathroom.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list.
