Most laundry detergents contain chemicals that can be harmful to your skin, the fibers in the items you are washing and the environment. Toxic chemicals will breakdown and weaken the fibers in your textiles causing them to have a reduced lifespan.

Roux Maison designed eco-friendly laundry detergents. Each detergent is made with natural and naturally derived ingredients. They are low sudsing formulas that are septic tank safe and work in all washing machines, including HE.

For my review, I received a bottle of Roux Maison Essential Detergent, in Sweet Tea scent. Essential Detergents are super concentrated so you just have to use a little; a 16 ounce bottle will wash up to 40 loads of laundry. Essential Detergents come in fabric-specific formulas that will clean and protect your textiles.

Sweet Tea is hypo-allergenic, free from artificial fragrances and has a neutral pH so it is safe for sensitive skin. I have Eczema on my hands; traditional soaps can really irritate my skin. Since I started using Roux Maison, I haven’t had any eczema flare-ups.

Sweet Tea contains 100% pure and therapeutic grade essential oils.  It has a nice light refreshing citrus scent.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list.
