Sweaty Bands are a wonderful fitness accessory! Sweaty Bands are fashionable, no-slip, absorbent head bands that actually stay in place! They are lightweight and have a soft velvet lining. For my review, I received two Sweaty Bands: Full Moon in Red & White and Racing Stripes in Brown & Tan. I would like to tell you how well these stayed in place and worked for me during my new exercise program but, I can’t. I can’t tell you because I only got to wear them once and then my Daughters (ages 3 and 5 years old) found them and claimed them…I never got to wear them again. I can tell you during the one time I got to wear them; they stayed exactly where I put them in my hair during a short jog and then an afternoon of yard work and chasing kids. I wasn’t bothered by perspiration dripping into my eyes and I actually felt a little cooler because my hair stayed away from my face.
My Daughters obviously discovered on their own that Sweaty Bands are great for kids too. They put them through many tests on the play grounds, soccer fields, and now t-ball fields. I did have to tie a small knot in the elastic strap to tighten the headbands for my girls’ smaller heads but since then, they have never had a problem with Sweaty Bands slipping or falling off. Finally, we have found a way to keep the hair out of their eyes while they play.
Sweaty Bands are easy to care for after wearing. Simply hand wash the bands and then let then drip dry.
