I know that Halloween is quite a few months away, but costumes are fun any time of year.  My son absolutely loves to dress up.  He will be 4 in August and he would rather run around the house in a costume opposed to regular clothes.  We do allow Little C to dress up for Halloween as well, so for us buycostumes.com was a win win for us.

The costumes on buycostumes.com are probably meant to be used primarily for Halloween, but those of you with kids know that costumes are used year round.  Little C loves to dress up as pirates, firemen, policemen, superheros and some cartoon characters.  I love to see him use his imagination and play dress up.  I have to be honest, I never really thought that playing dress up was for boys.  When I had Little C there was never a thought in the back of my head that he would have random costumes around the house that he want to run around in.  However, now that Little C has found this love, I absolutely adore seeing him run around as batman.  Love it!!!

Buycostumes.com allowed me to pick out a costume and it took Little C to pick just one out.  I think we literally took close to an hour.  There are so many choices, even in toddler sizes.  We went from superman to spiderman to Jake and The Neverland Pirates before Little C finally picked out the Power Rangers Red Samurai Ranger.  I believe we checked out mail around 8 the night that we got it.  I tried to talk Little C into waiting until the next day to try it on, however, that was just not going to happen.  He ran in the house, put it costume on and immediately posed for a few pictures.  He loves it!  The material is not real thick on this particular costume and to be honest, I don’t think it will last until Halloween.  Little C plays in it so much that I think that we will be shopping for another costume by Halloween, but I know where we will be shopping.  We received a size 3T/4T.  It fit perfectly.  I kind of wish I had gotten a larger size, but I never know as Little C is very slender.  Overall, we are very satisfied with the costume we received.
