Life is full of surprises. A year ago, I never would have thought 1. I would be writing for a blog 2. that I would be blessed to participate in the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger program. Life can surprise you in wonderful ways when you least expect it, just allow yourself to be open to the possibilities.
Tuesday I received my Nutrisystem goodies, it included- a Daily Planner, Resource Guide, water bottle, blender bottle, protein shakes and 28 days of Perfectly Portioned meals (freezer foods not in photo because I didn’t want them to melt.) Looking through all of these new products was exciting; I went to bed feeling very enthusiastic.
I “officially” started Nutrisystem on Wednesday. My day started with excitement and optimism; I felt great and was ready to start a new chapter in my life. All of the Nutrisystem foods I had that day were delicious and surprisingly filling….over filling, I couldn’t finish my dinner.
Day two started after a restful night of sleep…something that I don’t normally get. I woke with lots of energy; I suspect it’s partly excitement of the new program and partly because I don’t have unhealthy foods weighing me done physically and emotionally.
I am in love with my Daily Planner. Each day is lined out for me with color coded meals, fresh add-ins. It also tracks my vegetables, Daily 3 activities, and water consumption. This wonderful tool will help keep me on track an accountable.
I feel confident with my abilities and Nutrisystem. I have a wonderful support system through Nutrisystem and they are there to help me through every step on my weight loss journey.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I just finished my Nutrisystem journey after 10 months. It’s amazing being a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger! I lost over 50lbs.
If you got any with your frozen food, be sure to try any of the pizzas and the ice cream bar (well I guess it’s round, so not a bar, but I can’t remember exactly what it’s called, lol.) They are AMAZING!
Your going to do wonderful, and I can’t wait to follow your journey!
