I always look for good quality products when I purchase baby items, whether it’s clothing, decor, toys, etc. I want products that won’t fall apart and potentially be dangerous for my baby. Plus I’m also thinking long term: when we have another baby, we’ll be able to reuse them again. So, I’ve been looking and looking for a company that I could trust and then I found Living Textiles Baby!

I was quite surprised to find out that Living Textiles Baby was established in 1963 because I only knew them for their muslin blankets. Then I realized that they are an Australian company and have only been around in the US since 2008. It’s a very well known and trusted brand in Australia and I’m glad they expanded into our continent!

Living Textiles Baby offers a wide range of products from nursery decor and bedding to sleep sacks and wraps. They also offer bath towels and cloths, change mats, bibs, and toys.

At the moment, they are working really hard on the launch of a whole new line of products called Lolli Living. I was lucky enough to take an exclusive look at their catalog and let me tell you, you’ll want to keep an eye out for Lolli Living because absolutely everything is gorgeous!

The whole idea behind Lolli Living is to allow parents to get creative when decorating a baby’s room or a child’s room. Their products are mix-and-match so you’re not limited by pre-packaged bedding sets: you can get only what you need and create something completely unique for your child! Here is a sneak peek at some of the awesome products from the new Lolli Living line (they also have gender neutral options).

Living Textiles Baby very generously provided me with 3 items to review. I received the Coco Monkey Knitted Blanket (which is currently available on their website), the Mod Bird Blanket, and the Animal Tree Quilted Crib Comforter (which are both part of the new Lolli Living line so they are not yet available for purchase).

The Coco Monkey Knitted Blanket is a 100% cotton knitted blanket. It comes with Coco the Monkey, an adorable toy rattle. The blanket itself is quite big (30”x40”) and the ribbing pattern reminds me of hand-knitted blankets. The colors are modern and bright and work equally well for a boy or a girl. I really like that the blanket doesn’t scream baby. My daughter will be able to use it for years to come. Coco the Monkey has a short leash with Velcro so you can easily attach it to your stroller without risking to drop it or lose it. I washed the blanket by hand but you can also put it through a gentle cycle in your machine. Coco the Monkey is surface washable. My daughter loves the blanket as you can see in the pictures. Coco the Monkey isn’t left out, she gives him a good shake whenever she gets a hold of him!

The second item I received is the Mod Bird Blanket. I have to say I’m most impressed with this blanket. It’s a very soft and thin knit. It measures approximately 30”x40”. Because it’s a knit, I also handwashed it (you also have the option of a gentle cycle). I love how one side is pink with purple birds and the other side is purple with pink birds. The pattern is modern and bold and the green border gives it an extra oomph. Just like the Coco Monkey Blanket, this blanket is not just for babies. I can see my daughter carrying it around for a long time! It’s a great blanket for when she falls asleep somewhere and I don’t want to move her because I know that would wake her up. It’s bigger than my receiving blankets so it covers her better.

The third item I received is the Animal Tree Quilted Crib Comforter. This is a gender neutral option which goes perfectly in my daughter’s cream and turquoise room! The pattern on one side has rows of small trees and the other side has a more abstract ‘branch’ design with cute animals like elephants, giraffes, owls, and birds. This comforter gives you a ton of possibilities in terms of colors and decorations and I think it suits both baby boys and baby girls. The rick rack ribbon along the edge is a nice finishing touch.

Overall (in case it isn’t clear), I love Living Textiles Baby products! They are so well made and of such high-quality, you can’t go wrong with them. I like that their products have a modern flair and are different from the typical baby and child bedding options you see everywhere. The possibility to mix-and-match lets you create exactly what you want for your baby’s or child’s room.

Stay tuned for the launch of Lolli Living which should happen around mid-August! In the meantime, go check out their current line of products on their website. Don’t forget to like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter for the latest news.

I recently purchased the Little Bria collection for my daughter’s room and loved it. Everything from the sheet to the comforter was so soft and very well made. I would definitely purchase from them in the future!
