As a child I never remember getting lost and not being able to find my parents. I have to say that I am so glad that I never had to experience that. However, now that I have a child of my own I fear him getting lost . When we are in stores or the mall, I always hold his hand or put him in the big part of the buggy if he is willing to sit there. I miss the days that I could just put him in a stroller or buggy and know that he couldn’t run off.
SafetyTat is an amazing company with an amazing idea that has definitely eased my mind a little bit. I started talking to Little C about staying with me sometime last year when he was 3. I never want to scare him, but I do think that he needs to know how easy it could be for him to get lost in a store. He may think he knows where he is, but when he is lost in that store that he loves so much it is going to look so big and scary. I do take other safety measures on a daily basis and some may think that I go overboard, but I always take a picture of Little C before we go out anywhere. I would rather have a current picture on my phone in the clothes that he is in that day, then to have to depend on a picture that was taken 6 months before.
SafetyTat goes the extra step and makes a tattoo that you can have your cell phone number printed on. I absolutely love that idea. Little C loves tattoos and they do not break his skin out, so that is a major plus. SafetyTat has several different options so if you don’t want to have your cell number printed on the tattoo then you can order their Quick Stick Write-On Tattoos. You simply apply the tattoo to your child and then write the cell number of the person your child is going to be with for the day. They even ship you a pin to use with the tattoo.
I applied Little C’s SafetyTat on his arm. The tattoo lasted about 2 days before I felt that my cell number was getting a little bit hard to read. It really lasted about 3 days, but I like to know that the number is easy to read instead of someone having to guess if Little C is lost. Little C loves his tattoos, I feel better and I have gotten many inquiries regarding his SafetyTat. I would recommend them to anyone!

Hi Emily,
I love the idea of this for safety. When daughter was little I never let her out of my sight. I have to you tell what my sister did and it’s a really great idea that I would’ve never thought of. Her,my 2 nieces,my daughter and a few of their friends went to Animal Kingdom here in Ca. My sis put her phone number on the bottom of my 4 yr old neices shoe in case she got lost. My other sister laughed but I thought what an awesome and smart idea. Just alittle tip for ya.
I hope you and your family have a great wkend! 🙂
