I’m pretty picky when it comes to jewelry. My skin reacts negatively to a lot of cheaper jewelry materials so I try to stick to sterling silver or gold for my jewelry. I don’t like jewelry that is too plain such as simple studs but I want to be able to wear my jewelry pieces with a variety of different outfits, so I don’t like anything too over the top.

Several of the handmade jewelry pieces from Sosie Designs fit into the sweet spot of being basic enough to wear with several outfits, but yet having enough personal flare to keep them from being boring.

I was able to check out the sterling silver dragonfly w/ amethyst earrings that are sold at Sosie Designs. The earrings arrived in a cute little box that was wrapped with a bow. Inside the box the earrings were wrapped in tissue paper and another bow made out of twine. I just love the special feeling of handmade items arriving in the mail in such a gorgeous little package. If I had intended to give them as a gift, they would have been all ready for giving. I love that.

Being sterling silver, the earrings don’t bother my skin and they are simple but pretty. I like how they hang down a little bit but not so much that I have to remain conscious of their whereabouts to avoid snagging them on clothing or other surroundings. They are light weight so I don’t feel as if my ears are being dragged down like I do with some dangle earrings.

Retailing for just $17.50 I feel that they are a great value.
