About a year ago I did a Street Moda review of some sneakers that Ryan wore. He wore them daily for almost a year, through rain, snow and mud and they finally fell apart recently. Street Moda is an online website that sells brand names such as English Laundry, Naughty Monkey and Fusai at discounted prices. We were really happy with them the entire that he wore them and we recently got two more items from street moda to check out.

Street Moda Shorts

The item Ryan received was a pair of F.U.S.A.I Men’s Drawstring Cargo Shorts that come with a military belt. I mistakenly ordered a size larger than what Ryan actually wears so they are a bit big on him but he’s been wearing these with belts and loves them. In fact, I believe they are his favorite shorts. He says he doesn’t really have favorite clothes but given the fact that he has been wearing these right away every single time they come out of the dryer, I think that means they are his favorite. He likes how they are durable, comfortable and can be worn while relaxing at home or can be paired with a polos shirt for nicer events. I like all of the small details that make these shorts more interesting than his other cargo shorts. For example, both sides have external pockets in back that can be opened by unbuttoning the flap on either side. However, the right side has an additional pocket that is internal – meaning the pocket material falls inside of the shorts. So he actually has two pockets in back on the right side. There is a functional drawstring waist that allows the shorts to be tightened slightly. The bottom of each leg of the shorts also have drawstrings that allow them to be tightened. Each leg has a side cargo pocket. Overall they feel really well made and durable. At $28.99, they are a great pair of shorts for such a reasonable cost.

The Street Moda item for me was a pair of Naughty Monkey Stretch Limo heels. These have a 1′ platform and a 5″ heel. I have wide feet, so while I typically wear a 7.5 in shoes, I order an 8 in heels most of the time. That size was out of stock so I went with an 8.5 and they are only slightly large so I think the sizing is spot on. I have been really impressed with how comfortable these are to wear. I have 3 inch heels that are painful after 5 or 10 minutes of wear and I can walk around for 20+ minutes in these without feeling discomfort which is awesome. Seems how they are a big too big, my heel does slide out of place in back every now and then but only rarely and it’s not painful when they do slip. I like how these are a fairly basic pair of pumps that would go with most any color of outfit. I think they look great with a nice pair of jeans.
