Both of my Daughters had colic when they were infants. We found that pacifiers were one of the few things that helped sooth them. However, they had a REALLY hard time keeping the pacifiers in their mouths.  They would take one or two sucks and then it would fly out of their mouth. This was especially frustrating at night when they were trying to sleep. My Daughters are past the pacifier stage now, however, I have a 4 month old Niece who is having the same problem. I sat down with Google to find a solution to the flying pacifier problem and found WubbaNub.

WubbaNub was created by a Mom for her fussy infant. While on a family vacation Carla Schneider needed a way to prevent her baby’s pacifier from going missing,  so she took the hotel sewing kit and attached her baby’s pacifier to her favorite plush toy. It worked, no more missing pacifier and baby and Mom were finally able to relax and enjoy their vacation.

For our review, my Niece Jordyn received the Brown Puppy WubbaNub. WubbaNub has a medical grade BPA free pacifier and a small plush animal that makes it easy for baby to hold and self sooth. The first time I gave it to her, it only took her a few minutes to get a feel for the WubbaNub and then she was sound asleep. Now that we have had the WubbaNub for a few weeks, the WubbaNub has also become one of Jordyn’s favorite teething toys. I can imagine that chewing on this soft toy and pacifier feel good on her tender gums and two new teeth.

WubbaNub can be hand or machine washed.

WubbaNub is on facebook and twitter.

I gave one to our granddaughter and she loves it. She doesn’t use a pacifier of any other type. She knows it is just for when she is in bed. She will use it, then cuddle with the stuffed animal part. My daughter finally found another one to leave at daycare for nap time. Her mother-in-law got another similar one, but the baby wouldn’t use it. There is definitely something special about the wubbanub.

  • Our lactation consultant recommended the wubbanub pacifier. It is working great so far and there are lot of cute little animal styles to choose from.
