Now that school has been in for a month here in Georgia, I would like to tell you how great a product the Academic Planner is that my nephew had the chance to review. My nephew just turned 17 and is a Junior in High School. He is a top student and plays multiple sports inside and outside of school. He is also taking those ever so important college visits this school year as he prepares for his future. He stays super busy and when this Academic Planner came my way I immediately thought of him. I was a little concerned that he may not use it, however, he is a very responsible teenager and tells me that it is a great tool in order to keep everything straight.
The Academic Planner that I was sent to review was created by Leslie Josel, a busy working mom and owner of Order Out of Chaos. Leslie has managed to develop the only academic planner for students that provides space for writing in after school activities as well as weekend commitments.
Just a few of the great features of this particular academic planner are that the student can list their courses on the very first page and then the calendar and slots for keeping up with homework and such line up exactly with the course list on the first page. They don’t have to continuously write down course names and such. If your students schedule changes half way through the semester they could easily just white out the old class schedule and write in the new one. There are also times listed from 3:00 pm to 9:00 for any after school activities. If your student happened to have a long term project that they were working on it would be an excellent way for them to manage their time.
If you have a student who is about to start school or one that has already started and is having trouble keeping up with their daily schedules and managing their time then the Order Out of Chaos Academic Planner would be perfect. The academic planner can alleviate some of the stress for the parents and the students.

Thanks for the information. I’m going to look into this for my oldest.

Love that there is space for the rest of their lives… that’s one problem my daughter is having with her school approved agenda – she can’t find space to write in appointments or afterschool activities

I love the way it lines up like you said so they don’t have to keep writing the subject title every time. A simple touch, but so helpful.
Thank you so much for the awesome review. I was thrilled to read that your nephew is using the planner to keep track of his assignments AND his after school activities. A win win for academic success! I really appreciate it!
